Can someone help me with good skincare suggestions for men? I recently started using bar soap and Ive noticed my skin getting irritated and itchy. I hopped on the internet and everyone was strictly against using bar soaps. So I want some advice on how to create the perfect skincare routine for myself.

Hey! I'm a lady but Im a big skincare nerd and I love helping people figure out a routine for themselves. My first advice is to be gentle with your skin. Youll feel that it'll be helpful to use stripping facial cleansers and soap to get the dirt and grime off your face but that's not true! You can do without harsh cleansers. A brand that I can recommend out of experience (both mine and my husbands) is cerave. They have an amazing line of gentle but very effective products. You want to start using their facial cleanser and their "AM" moisturizer. This will calm your skin and prevent it from feeling dry or irritated and will also help you with your breakouts. I won't recommend any toners or astringents like witch hazel because they'll only dry your skin out.
If you're keen on moving beyond a moisturizer and cleanser then you can try a chemical exfoliator. If you have oily skin, try the BHA by paulas choice (https://www.paulaschoice.com/skin-perfecting-2pct-bha-liquid-exfoliant/201.html). But if you have dry and sensitive skin then start with the 10% lactic acid serum by The Ordinary.
I do also use supplements so let me know if you'd want dietary suggestions!

Wow that sounds like fairly credible advice, thank you. I'll do my best to try and find the products that you have posted. I'm not sure what you mean by supplements for skin? I think id like to know about them.

Your welcome! About the supplements, fact is that your skin is impacted a lot by what you eat. So if you eat healthy food itll reflect in the health of your skin. The supplement I take for my skin is collagen ( www.vitaminexpress.org/uk/collagen-supplements). Its great for improving the elasticity of the skin and making it appear firm yet supple. Its effects are visible if youre also drinking plenty of water and eating fruits and veggies. Collagen on its own isn't gonna do much if you dont use it alongside a balanced diet. I know it sounds a lot but skincare is a lifestyle LOL.
